NEMO CIC runs NEMO Groove Orchestra and NEMO Vocal Ensemble and both of which are looking for young musicians who want to take part!
NEMO Groove Orchestra is an instrumental band and NEMO Vocal Ensemble is a choir, both specialise in Jazz, Blues, Soul, Funk, Fusion, Boogie Woogie, R&B and many more styles of music!

All of our ensembles (bands/choirs) are free to join, but there is limited availability and we ask that you have 3 years of experience in playing or singing, and that you have your own instrument. (We are building an instrument library, but its not quite ready yet!)
Our rehearsals happen every week at Birdland in Sunderland. NEMO Groove Orchestra rehearses every Tuesday evening from 5pm-7pm. NEMO Vocal Ensemble rehearses every Wednesday evening from 5pm-7pm. Get in touch for more info.
